Purpose

To promote wellbeing and build capacity in individuals, families and community.

History

Allambee has been providing support for people who have experienced sexual abuse/assault, domestic violence and trauma in the Peel region since 1991. Historically the focus of Allambee’s services has been on support for women and adolescents affected by sexual abuse/assault and domestic violence; however, the service has increasingly expanded to offer a range of individual and family counselling services, group therapies, community education and a youth service to support at risk high school children in the region.

Although based in Mandurah, Allambee provides services to families across the Peel region including the shires of Murray, Jarrahdale/Serpentine, Waroona and Boddington.

Our Team

The Allambee team includes psychologists, counselling psychologists, counsellors, social workers, youth workers and administration staff. All Allambee staff are professionally trained and qualified.

Funding

Allambee’s services are primarily funded by the WA Department of Health and the Department for Communities.
